This Halloween weekend was the busiest Halloween that I can recall in many years. Friday afternoon I began airbrushing 12 t shirts with portraits of Biggie, Michael Jackson, Aaliyah and Tupac, for a University hip hop dance team that is competing against other Canadian university dance teams.

I had to stop doing the portraits to begin customizing a pair of Nikes for my friend Johnathan who owns  Dunk For Fun Dunk Tank & Party Rentals which had to be ready by Saturday. Friday evening I rushed down to a club at the lakefront called the Sound Academy to face paint Toronto’s rock radio q107 morning funny man John Garbutt.

After painting John I had to rush to another location downtown to body paint temp tattoos on an up and coming hip hop drumming entertainer named Gabriel who was performing at the Liberty Grand club in front of thousands of event goers. Here is a clip of what Gabriel does:

After painting Gabriel, he had to go to his gig and I had to rush back to my studio to finish the shoes. Saturday morning I awoke  early to get prepared for an entire day of appointments of face painting and body painting. At noon Stephen came by and was  face painted as a devilish ghoul – tear face. After he was painted, I rushed to a makeup school to paint Jeremy, Vanessa, Stephanie and Stephanie.

At 9pm I rushed down to the Ice Lounge on Danforth avenue in Greektown for the Afrosonic (http://www.afrosonic-ent.com) Halloween party to face paint and body paint models until 2am. Rushed home to sleep. On Sunday I did temp tattooing at a really fun bar mitzvah for some great repeat clients who booked me for their son’s party almost a year before.
